what are your thoughts on fast charging EVs in like 10minutes via public chargers ?
will this make a change in your decision to purchase the EV ? do you think people will buy such bikes ? is it a problem worth solving ?

While honestly I’d try to avoid it as much as I can due to the effect they have on the batteries considering all of the 2 wheelers EV’s come with passive cooling using ducts & vents to channelize the Ambient air around battery/ pack & while it’s only the 4 wheelers except the MG Comet coming with both fast charging and liquid cooling in them but even in that case it does affect the battery health significantly which is why manufacturers suggest to use it minimally. 1 Out of 10 charges practically.
Now considering the real-life scenarios, since we cannot really get away from it due to multiple scenarios.
What we need to know and understand is that batteries don’t like both really low & especially high temperatures which is mostly the case in our country unless someone who lives in Ladakh!
Hence, I’d suggest you to prefer them only in situations of dire need.
Let’s suppose if the battery is very low (probably 20% or lower) and can reach your destination with 50% of fast charge then only suggest you to charge that much in order to achieve minimum waiting/ charging time, avoid higher battery temperatures leading to quicker battery discharge.
