How can we set up an EV charging station in my society ? What are the steps to register? Would RWA need any permission for setting up an EV charger?

There are no particular licenses that one needs to obtain for setting up public EV charging stations. Both individuals and organizations are at liberty to set up such stations without any restrictions. However, the Ministry of Power and the Central Electricity Authority have established certain performance standards for electric charging stations.
